Privacy policy
This policy explains what ShoreTrade Solutions collects on this website, when you contact us, and when we message you about that conversation.
Last updated 5 November 2026.
Who we are
ShoreTrade Solutions publishes this website and sends business messages under that name.
For this website, and for messages we send as ShoreTrade Solutions, email support@shoretradesolutions.co.uk about this policy, a copy of your information, or a correction.
Company registration details for this trading name will be added here when they are confirmed. Until then, use the email address above.
What this policy covers
It covers this website, enquiries you send us, and WhatsApp, RCS or text messages sent under the ShoreTrade Solutions name.
Work for a customer is also covered by the written agreement for that work. This website is not the place to send customer records, passwords or identity documents.
Information we collect
We collect what we need to reply, to message you about that reply, or to do work you have asked us to do.
- Identity and contact details you give us, such as your name, email address, mobile number, business name and what you want to talk about.
- The content of emails and business messages between us, and a record of whether you asked to receive messages or asked us to stop.
- Technical information the website host receives when you open a page, such as an IP address and the browser request. We use this to run and protect the site. We do not run our own analytics, and we do not use advertising tags.
- Information you give us for an agreed customer project. That stays within the scope of the agreement.
Pico website guide
Pico is a guide to the services published on this website. It matches what you type to prepared answers in your browser. It is not a live chat with the team, and it is not an external AI service.
What you type stays in that open tab. It is cleared when you reload the page or select Clear chat. Pico does not save a transcript, set a cookie, or send the conversation to us. Use the contact page or email when you want us to receive a message.
How we use it
We use the information for these purposes:
- To reply to an enquiry and prepare for a conversation you have asked for.
- To send the business messages described below, and to keep a record of consent and of requests to stop.
- To do the work described in a written agreement, and to keep ordinary business records.
- To keep the website available and secure.
- Where the law requires us to keep or disclose something, for example a tax or company record.
Business messages
ShoreTrade Solutions may contact you on WhatsApp if you tick that method, and by RCS or text message (SMS) when you opt in to those messages. On the contact form, we use WhatsApp, SMS, email or a phone call only if you tick that method.
Service messages are about something you have already asked for: a reply to your enquiry, or an update about work we are doing with you. News and offers are sent only if you have separately asked to receive them.
You can stop messages at any time by replying STOP, or by emailing us. Details, including HELP, are in the terms and conditions.
We do not buy phone lists. Opening this website is not consent to be messaged. We do not sell mobile numbers.
Messaging consent
The categories above include contact details, message content, technical connection data, and project information. They also include a mobile number and the record of messaging consent or a request to stop.
All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties, excluding aggregators and providers of the Text Message services.
In plain terms: the number you gave us, and the record that you opted in or opted out, are not shared with other businesses for their own marketing. The provider and the networks that carry the message receive them only so the message can be delivered and a STOP request can be honoured.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for up to 24 months after our last contact about that enquiry, unless a project starts or we need the record for a legal claim, tax, or company duty.
We keep the record that you opted out of messages for as long as we send ShoreTrade Solutions messages, so we do not message that number again.
Project files are kept for the period written in the project agreement, and for any longer period the law requires.
We do not keep a separate history of the pages you visit.
Where it is processed
We are based in the United Kingdom. Some providers, including the messaging provider, may process information in the United Kingdom and in other countries, including the United States.
Where information leaves the UK, we rely on the provider's UK transfer arrangements, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or a UK adequacy regulation.
Your choices and rights
You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and ask us to delete it or limit how we use it. You can object to uses based on legitimate interests, and you can ask for information you provided to be sent to you or to someone else in a portable form, where the law gives you that right.
You can withdraw consent for news and offers at any time. Reply STOP, or email us. Withdrawing consent does not affect a message we were already entitled to send about work you asked us to do, or processing that happened before you withdrew consent.
We rely on consent for promotional messages. We rely on the steps needed to answer you, or to perform an agreement, for service messages and enquiries. We rely on legitimate interests to keep the site secure and to keep an opt-out record. We rely on a legal duty where company or tax law requires a record.
You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. We would like the chance to put something right first. Email support@shoretradesolutions.co.uk.
Changes
We will update this page when the policy changes, and change the date at the top. If a change affects messages you have already agreed to, we will tell you by email or in the message thread before we rely on the new wording.
